Family Friends volunteers are matched in their own neighborhood with children with special needs and their families. The volunteers visit their matches at the children's homes. In the home, the volunteers read, play games, sing, play music and share affection; work on arts and crafts projects; listen to the children, their siblings and parents; and offer insight from their life experience. Before being matched with a family, our volunteers are carefully interviewed and trained. Matches are closely supervised to support both the volunteer and the family. Family Friends is only limited to caring adults who want to form friendships. This opportunity is sponsored by: Bucks County Family Friends
